glossary

  • automemories flowers: flowers that hold the NPCs' recollection of their previous lives; whoever gets the flower gets the NPC's support, whoever destroys the flower destroys the NPC.

  • col: the currency used in the game; players are provided with a random amount at the entrance.

  • dead numbers: digits that are engraved onto dead players' tombstones; the process is done automatically.

  • dungeons: where players occasionally come to increase their stats by fighting monsters (notice: a dungeon isn't considered a level itself).

  • error code 707: a part or even all the hard drives memory cannot be erased

  • guild: a group of players who form alliances to compete against others (20-50 people)

  • H.P: health points; when a player's H.P drops to zero, they will die.

  • level 4 disorder: a term to mock players who are content with reaching the fourth level and have no intentions of clearing the game.

  • mana: an essential substance that permeates the Human Empire; anyone and anything needs and can have mana within them as cultivation of energy as well as power; it can't be seen by the naked eyes unless extremely concentrated or manifested by humans; this substance also applies to all players and beings in the game.

  • menu: activated with one's index and middle finger in a downward swipe motion; here, players can get access to their skills, items, data, maps, messages, etc.

  • N.P.C: non-player characters

  • obscure zones: certain locations that are isolated from any areas with NPCs, players can't use supporting items or send their teammates any messages; usually contain high-level monsters with rare drops.

  • P.K: players killing

  • pair: when two people form an alliance; they can share their data with each other, track their partner's location, etc.

  • party: a small group of players which can be formed inside or outside a guild to compete against others (3-10 people).

  • passive skill: a random skill each player will be provided instantly after logging in; can be used once every 24 hours.

  • primary skill: a skill in which players purchase by choice at the ability store with the number of cols they possess.

  • probability: tremendous pain players go through in order to maintain order and fairness in the game; a common side effect is that their avatar will shrink. if one cannot handle the probability, their avatar will shrink until they disappear completely.

  • residents: programmed humanoid avatars operating the game; they do not have a conscious or will of their own like NPCs.

  • safe zones: certain locations where damages can't be done, HP won't drop and duels are prohibited unless mutually agreed beforehand.

  • supporting items: revive potions, teleport crystals, healing crystals

  • switch: an exclusive feature for pairs; partners will essentially switch bodies, their skills will also shift (initially created to confuse monsters and NPCs).

  • tamers: players who train certain monsters to become their pets; the pets can help them during battles or simply provide emotional support if their taming skills are high enough.
